I think the title of this movie explains it. Its an idea "What if?" Its not a movie for everyone though. The action is great, the actors were great. I would see it again. If you like movies that just get to the point and have a definite ending this is not for you. I was gripping my popcorn so hard my hand was sore but it survived!!

As a fan of the old one I say its not bad at all. I jumped the entire time. The dark humor of the old Freddy was not there, but the new Freddy was more sinister to me and gave a new view to the character. Good job!!
