Awesome for marine lovers, good for everyone else

I found this film to be terrific, but I am also very passionate about our oceans and the marine world. The cinematic work is impressive, and the story at the end is a solid one.
My wife, who does not feel as passionately as I do about the ocean, enjoyed the film. But as she put it, it was "like watching a Jacques Cousteau special on a bigger screen". I think for her, waiting for it to come to home video would not have reduced her viewing experience.
So in the end, I think your enjoyment of the film will depend on how connected you are to the ocean. Strong connection = strong enjoyment.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
