This film is a game changer for cinema from a technical standpoint, but is also just a great piece of cinema as well.

Having just re-read the series very recently, the movies always (unavoidably) feel like reader's digest condensed versions, but this was an enjoyable film none the less.
There were some points during the film that felt off, either due to lack of music to fill in spots or just some editing issues, but all in all worth the bucks to go see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
