Beautiful acting, but Chicago as Gotham distractin

Beautiful acting from the entire cast, especially the magnificent Heath Ledger, but also the supporting cast standouts like Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman.
Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhall were beautiful but their acting a little constrained by the characters they played.
Only sour note is how distracting the Chicago as Gotham failure appeared. Drop the Hong Kong scenes and spend the budget saved on Manhattan.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
