Yes, the special effects were amazing but I couldn't get past the preachy attitude the entire plot tried to cram down my throat...
The synopsis: Industry bad. Military bloodthirsty. Indiginous peoples naive but pure. Only one who could save them was the conflicted white man. Thank goodness he came along to save their butts (insert sarcasm here). Oh and I forgot - the planet is alive and must be worshipped. Musn't let big bad industry mess up the planet. The only answer is no industry at all.
Obviously, I was not impressed. The scenery and animals were well done and very imaginative, but not enough to make up for the liberal agenda preached throughout the entire movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
