Lost the soul of the book...

J.K. Rowling does excellent character building in the book and the characters in the movie did not reflect the characters I've grown to love in the book. Essential parts from the book were left out and replaced with special effects scenes. From Harry's first kiss with Ginny to the death at the end of the movie, the movie has unnecessarily tweaked and changed important details. It lacked magic, chemistry between actors, and the genuinity of the book. As I reread the book before the movie, I thought to myself, "I can't wait to see this come to life on the big screen!" Unfortunately, I witnessed a butchering of the book come to life on the big screen. Worst movie thus far.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
