As a bonafide foodie, I had my doubts about this movie. Boy was I wrong! After seeing it TWICE now, I can honestly say that I LOVE it! The acting was great (Meryl Streep does an AWESOME Julia!), and the story line was captivating...two love stories revolving around food! My dubious husband went with me last night & loved it, too! Not only did I go out and buy Julia's cookbook (I was on a waiting list), we are enjoying every recipe that we prepare! Treat yourself to a relaxing and enjoyable evening...go see 'Julie & Julia'!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
