Thor - Way better than expected

I have to give it to Marvel. They realized how bad movies were being done of their comics and they stepped up and made the movies themselves.
Thor's special effects were great, the guy playing Lokie was great, and overall I really liked the movie and how they are integrating the other Marvel comics together. Good job.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Huge Tim Burton fan, huge Johnny Depp fan. Really a fan of the majority of the people in the movie.
Visuals were stunning and well done.
Everything else was dreadfully boring. Couldn't understand Johnny Depp over half the time, which was frustrating and what was with that horrible accent when he was angry. Tim managed to mangle the story line. Only redemption for me was Danny Efman's score, which wasn't up to his usual standard as well.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
