Perfect for pre-teens

If you have a daughter 8-14 they will love this movie. The moms, probably not so much. The actors don't have the chops for all the melodrama, though the director does a fair job of camouflaging their limitations. Still, this movie lives up to it's marketing. It's exactly what it seems to be, a teen squeal fest. There is no hidden depth, but anyone foolish enough to expect that going in deserves to be disappointed. The high point? - Taylor Lautner's new bod far and away steals the show. Listen for the collective sigh when his shirt comes off. "Team Edward" is going to take a serious hit following this movie. My daughter defected immediately.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
