I've sat though more than a few mediocre action films in the past and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I even found the first quarter of this film moderately entertaining. But the lackluster acting (are there NO real actors in H-Wood anymore?), Transformer rip-off story line, effects and mood just wore me down. It's vintage rock soundtrack assaults the viewer at such a high volume, I began feeling like this film was begging the audience to hate it. Finally, any action film with Liam Neeson should include at least one scene with Liam delivering a serious beat-down. By the last quarter of this movie, I was checking my email. I also, finally understood why there were only 22 other people in the theater with me at a 7pm megascreen showing at a high volume multi-screen cinema. Who bankrolled this project? I should have been at the pitch meeting -- I could have saved them some time and money. Although it's too late to help the backers, I can help you. Skip this silly film and rent the first Transformers.
