I adore TAM, Ira, Dan and many of the other guests. Have been fans for years. But while all of the segments were well-written, I was mystified by the tone and pace of the show. I thought overall it was such a DOWNER! Even Mike Berbiglia's (sp???) piece was so dark. I'm a singer-songwriter, and I like melancholic tones, but this show felt too heavy and plodding after the opening games and 1st segment on shoplifting had passed. Dan Savage's piece was beautiful of course--but man, it was a bit much! My fiancee was with me and his mom died almost 3 years ago. We wanted to have a little fun (he loves Savage Love) not become completely depressed...sound quality was also poor--the main feed was too soft.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
