I really wanted to like this movie. I love the books and have loved or very much liked the other movies. I even saw Breaking Dawn - Part 1 twice, just to make sure.
Yes, it really was that bad. Boring, slow, left out too many things - just a huge disappointment.

Actually, the 4th time, but watching "Star Trek" re-released in IMAX was even better than the first time. Such an amazing movie - the genius of it, the vision.

I never thought I would say this, but SATC 2 is a terrible movie. Groanable one-liners, bizarre fashion, and just a general waste of time. I am a huge SATC fan and have seen every episode and the first movie, and I wish they would have stopped there. The over-the-top wedding in the beginning was the high point and it went downhill from there.

Avatar is that rarest of movies - the one you want to go on and on. The world created is so spectacular, so fantastically wonderful, and yet so basically human, that you just want to live there yourself. Wonderfully filmed and acted, brilliantly conceived - a must go!
