Our kids (9 and 8) enjoyed it, but my husband and I - who loved the two prior Madagascar movies - found this one boring with a silly story line. I napped through some of it. Too bad - we just assumed it would be as good as the last two.
Pros great actors
Cons slow, bad story

My expectations were pretty low after Order of the Phoenix. I love the books, and felt that Order wasn't true enough to the book. This one was fairly true to the book (with one glaring exception - can't figure out the scene at the Burrow). But I thought they did a decent job of condensing 800 pages into 2.5 hours. In any case, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Acting is getting better by the 3 stars, and continues to be great by the rest of the cast. Alan Rickman is still amazing as Snape.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
