I didn't have super high expectations for this film, but I REALLY did want to like it. However, that just didn't happen.
I feel like it could have been a half hour shorter, and some of the fight scenes could have been cut down and replaced with more plot, and this would have been so much better.
Some of the acting was cheesy and melodramatic, and not in an amusing we're-trying-to-be-cheesy way. It was a little much.
The special effects were pretty good, and Henry Cavill is a beautiful, beautiful man. So, that was nice.
Overall, probably wouldn't watch the film a second time, which makes me really sad.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
