UP - Not all fun and games

This is a great film but if you take your young child to see it be prepared for some not so up moments. The theatre was filled with happy, boisterous folks after the opening pixar short. About 15 minutes into the film you could have heard a pin drop. That is the power of this movie. (Trying not to be a spoiler here).
A lot of the power of this film will be lost on the very young. You have to be probably over 10 to really understand the meaning behind this film. However, there is plenty of silly fun for all ages to enjoy.
I thought this was a wonderfully, sweet, and moving film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
