Movie was good, Like the book better

While I've read all of the Twilight books, this is the first movie I've seen. Not bad and I can see what the popularity is about. Characters are engaging and sincere. Good acting from young actors for sure. It was hard to root for or against Jacob. Very likeable. Even though the movie was over 2 hrs long, it felt a bit rushed towards the end. Like chunks of the book were left out.
Overall, great movie and glad I saw it in the morning but theatre still had kids there who should have been in school!

I love good action movies especially martial arts. Jet Li and the lovely Michelle Yeoh [Crouching Tiger, Memoirs of a Geisha] give powerful performances opposing each other. The special fx are very good. Believable story line. Brandon Fraser [yawn] but the hold onto your seats when the 'snowmen' show up!
Seriously, go to a matinee, I wouldn't pay more than that.
