Kids liked it a lot. Adults thought it was decent. Good way to spend a couple of hours on a hot summer day. Don't waste your money for the "3D". It's the new RealD. Gives movie depth, a few things pop out at you during the beginning, then nothing. Would have been fine in 2D. Ending was a little ruff cut. Wonder how long we'll have to wait for parts 2 & 3

Just like the book - building for the finale.

As in the book, this one is more about character development then action. It's all about building things up for the finale. You get a little more into the personalities of the characters. My 8 year old nephew said it was good, without being asked, 12 year old niece enjoyed it as well. If you're a fan of the series you will enjoy this one as well.

11 yr & 7 yr old kids thought it was great. I enjoyed it too. Some good 3D effects.

Cute, light, entertaining. A little predictable. My 11 year old neice enjoyed it. I enjoyed looking at Gerard Butler.
