A Condensed Adaptation

Let me start by saying that the film is visually stunning, as I had expected. The performances are all very strong as well. That being said, if you love the book, as I did, you may be disappointed by how condensed a lot of the story is... some of the most beautiful points in the story have been eliminated or altered to fit and some characters have been melded together.
That is not to say the movie is not well done, after all it would be hard to fit in every detail. If you've not read the book, you may find a seamless story here.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
