The movie did drag a little bit at the beginning but it picked up pace in the middle and was quite exciting til the end. There were a lot of scenes in the first hour and a half that could have been shortened, as they were repetitive and sometimes unnecessary. The last hour and half was pretty good - the dialogue, the effects and the acting met my expectations.

The movie is ok. It's something you can expect from a Nicholas Sparks novel. I heard the book is better, but most books are better than their movie counterparts anyway. Overall, the plot, the ending and everything else is quite expected - overall, it is ok.
