Effects and action abound. acting average at best. plot probably best of the three. some funny spots. too many cliché's. worth the price of admission but not much else.

Just saw the move in IMAX 3D. I am an Apple certified trainer who specializes in motion graphics and animation. I can say without reservation that Avatar is the most visually stunning movie I have ever seen. The line between computer generated and reality has been blurred to the point where it was honestly difficult to tell the difference. The story is solid and the acting is above average. Cameron has to be considered one of the true visionary directors of all time. This is well worth the money to see it in IMAX you will not be disappointed.
