Light and fun. Clever gadgets. I enjoyed the characters, especially Cato, Chudnovsky, and the car(s). If I was rating the moviefor the performances and general concept, I would have given it 4 stars, but found the storyline and some elements a bit weak -- even off. Strongly feel that 3-D added nothing special to the experience.
I gave it a four stars because it is a good movie experience for the whole crowd. Kids loved all the kid-oriented jokes, it had a storyline with a bit of unexpected depth at the end, and it handled the physical humor without meanness. Not the greatest movie ever made, but a good solid summer movie. The more I think about it, the more I like it.
