This movie was good. The graphics were what you would expect from Dreamworks and the characters were well done by all the actors. Some of the humor was a little subtle for younger kids, but there was enough for everyone. Went to see it with my 9 yo son who thought it was excellent, Worth the cost of an afternoon show ticket.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Yates did a superb job (minus the dance scene in the tent between Harry & Hermione) of staying true to the book. There were places the movie dragged a bit, but otherwise, it was very well done. The IMAX version just WOWs you out of your seat!
My wife and son and I went to see this on Father's Day. It was especially poignant to my wife when Andy and his mom are saying goodbye as he leaves for college as our daughters will both be in college in August (Junior and Freshman). Lots of good humor, too!
