Transformers was definitely a let down compared to the first one. I went in the movie knowing the bad reviews it had, but still thinking it would be awesome. I was so wrong! The movie has way too many comedians with very bad jokes. They could have stuck to a few funny lines and it would have been hilarious. The twin robots were two of the most ridiculous characters to ever appear on the big screen. The movie could have done without most of the characters and over produced action scenes. Also, the worst part was that there was more build up to the two main characters saying "I love you" than Optimus coming back to life.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
