Twilight doesn't live up to hype!

As if it weren't cheesy enough with poor special effects and weak scripting, the acting didn't do the book's character development any justice.
There was too much wrong with this movie for true fans of the book to actually enjoy watching it; instead it was like two hours of torture while someone tried unsuccessfully to explain the book in their own words.
With any luck, the profits turned by this first installment in the series will lead to better production value in the second, and with no shortage of screaming teenage girls, even if the next one is terrible it will make money.
