I was so excited to see this movie finally come out, but was gravely disappointed in the final product. It REALLY drags, is not as entertaining as previous installments and would be completely confusing to those who have not seen the previous movies. It is faithful to the book, but that doesn't necessarily make it good. The acting seemed melodramatic and over the top. There was very little humor in this movie either, which I suppose is meant to match the darker tone of the later novels. Usually I see a Harry Potter movie several times to drink in all the details, but I think this time once was enough. It was not a bad movie, but not a great one either.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
