They definitely have a formula

The movie was a well-crafted formula. Although most enjoyed the first, as I did, and did little to question its creation, this one delves a little more into the mind of the character as well as the mind of the villain. More closely resembling the stream of comic book-consciouness, this one bounces around to nemesis, villain, friend, and main character will a little more erradicism. Nonetheless, like said, it keeps to the formula for action. We have to keep in mind that the actors are doing their best with the fact CGI will take over most of the battles. Good overall.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
