This movie was exellent. It kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, the added humor had me bustin' a gut every few minutes, and the special effects were just incredible. GM's prototype Vette looks awesome just as Megan Fox does. The only glitch that Director Michael Bay did not cover up real well was Shia LaBeouf's broken hand. The adults watching the movie will catch that even if most of the children do not. Since I'm not a movie critic, I simply wrote the event off, although my condolences to Shia for the broken hand.
Robert Downey was suprisingly well fitted for this movie. There was something about his persona that blended very well into the character of Tony Stark. The comical ( and sometimes slapstick ) moments in the film threw a good twist into the movie. Undoubtedly, the special effects were not lacking in this movie as with the other Marvel movies that I have seen. Of course, my two sons were completely awe-struck. They're 12.
