Lots of special effects, lots of loud, lots of explosions.
Not so much plot, and only one character you care about. That character is NOT John Connor.
I loved the first Terminator, and it's still the best. The brief scenes in that movie of the war between the machines and humans were much scarier and haunting than the war in this movie.
I'd recommend this to a friend, but only because my friends would see it whether I did or not.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
