Disappointing!

I realize the idea was to reinvent the franchise, but did they have to completely screw with everything! Including the theme music! (I would've used a stronger word here, but figured that would violate some TOS)
I was expecting much better; although, I do have to say that Pine and Quinto were pretty good as Kirk and Spock.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It's an ok movie. Was it worth the $10 for the ticket???? Maybe. Easily my least favorite of the X-Men movies. After missing the sceens in the credits on the last movie. This time I stayed until the house lights came up. There were sceens during and after the credits, but they didn't really seem important to me. There are some really cool special effects in the movie; however, there are also a few sceens where they missed the mark. There was one sceen at the end that where the effects were very poorly done. I do have to say that the eye candy with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds was very nice. It would have been nice if they had kept Reynolds character from the first part of the movie thought.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was a complete waste of the electricity use to run the projector!!! I loved all the other alien and predator movies (have several of them on DVD), and the first AVP was great, but if this is the best that these two movie franchises can come up with then they need to die a quicker death than the pregnant women in this movie! Lots of posters have said that they wished the movie had better casting... well; you have to have something that at least resembles a decent script to attract decent actors. The script would have been soooo much better if it had focused solely on the action between the alien and predator and treated the residents of the town like the baitfish that they were. This movie was only 96 minutes, which was unfortunately 96 minutes too long.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
