Fantastic piece of entertainment, Ledger's performance would have made him a superstar, and Nolan's vision for the movie puts him at the forefront of all these new directors. While some are overdoing it with the hyperbole, the truth is "The Dark Knight" is the best film of 2008 and one of the best superhero movies ever made.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
