I was expecting a great movie since this was directed by Clint Eastwood. He has had a great run of fantsatic movies over the years and I thought this one would be the same. As another reviewer previous to mine said, this was a great story but an average movie. Acting was subpar and the story moved really slowly. The CGI shots of the crowd were used too much through the rugby scenes and the movie as a whole left me underwhelmed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I knew going in that this movie was deep and dark. There were a few moments of reprieve due to some well-timed humor bits, but overall, the movie was very poignant. It was brilliantly acted on all accounts.

This go-around for the Kendrick brothers is a roaring success. The acting, although still a notch below Hollywood mainstream, was better than their last effort in Facing the Giants. The storyline is second to none and can only be categorized as God-breathed. You will laugh, cry, and ponder the true meaning of marriage and God's love for His bride...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
