I never read the book and I loved it. My wife has read the series and she love it as well and thought the casting was perfect from Bella and Edward. This is a great movie about teenage love and not filled with ronch and pointless love scenes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Funniest movie in a long time!

This movie was so funny everyone in the theatre nearly died laughing. I haven't laughed that hard for a movie in a long time! Downey Jr. was awesome. Uptight people with no sense of humor should not see this movie and then write reviews. Give me a break people, it's a comedy!!! I am going to take everyone I know to see this movie it is so funny. Great job Stiller for writting and directing this. I can't wait to buy it on DVD.

This was the best movie I have seen in a LONG time. The writing and acting were great not some cheesy plot. And it really cut the cartoonie feeling that the original batman movie saturated us with. Everone should see this movie again and again.
