Unlike Catherine Hardwicke's first poorly directed installment in the Twilight Saga, this movie is actually enjoyable. If it weren't for Kristin Stewart being the only true vampire in the movie by sucking the life out of the role of Bella, it would have been even more fun to watch. Does Kristin Stewart even own a facial expression other than her perpetual scowl? It's hard to buy Bella's broken heart when she seemed just as miserable with Edward as she did without him. Having said that, I believe everyone else's performances improved this time around. Kudos to Taylor Lautner for all of his preparation, a job well done and for making TwiMoms everywhere feel like cougars. Definitely a must see for all Twilight fans.
Although knowing where this ride was going to take me, I sure had fun getting there. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds both play refreshingly intelligent, witty and engaging roles, and Betty White's expressions alone often elicit hilarity. From the stunning Alaskan background to the gorgeous actors (who knew Ryan Reynolds was so yummy?) and great humor, I definitely want to see this one again.
