My husband looked forward with great anticipation to seeing this film and I was uncertain... could take it or leave it alone; however, turns out we both enjoyed the film. Wonderful cast, wonderful sets, wonderful story... that has lttle to do with the title character and much to do with the circumstances surrounding him (not giving away any more movie details). The movie was magical, touching and s-l-o-w. This film could have been 90 minutes long and achieved all it set out to do, including entertaining it's audience. I did see several people leave the theatre before the film ended and only 4 of us stayed to see the film credits. People left at the conclusion of the film, like they couldn't wait to be released from a celluloid prison. If you can see this film at a discounted matinee price, please do. If you have to pay for a full price ticket, save your money and wait for the title on Netflix.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The end of a story that has been 10 years in the telling and seen its' stars go from childhood to adulthood... was FABULOUS! The movie was more true to the 7th book than previous films have been to earlier books. 3D made the images clearer, and more focused, but was hardly worth the expense. See it in 2D and you'll be just as happy... but please see HP7 the end of an era. What movies will we anticipate more than these?
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Cars2 is a hit!

This is a wonderful movie for old and young alike. Pixar has done another wonderful job. This is more of a Mater and Lightning McQueen buddy flick, so the other cars only get minimal screen time. We do meet the new cars "spies" Finn and Holly, won't go into more detail, so the movie is not spoiled for those who've not seen it Michael Caine was an inspired choice for Finn. If you enjoyed Cars... Cars 2 is a must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not a young children's movie. No Disney-fied version here. This is Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass combined, as written by Lewis Carroll. Sets/ Lighting, Costumes, Cinematography, Music, Bravo Tim Burton, Danny Elfman and company ... you've done it again!
