Avengers was well worth the wait. Although waiting in a midnight line to see the premier was more about rubbing elbows with a 290ib 'Hulk' worried about whether the green would come off before he had to go to work, and listening to 'thor' and 'iron man' debate whether the sequel will match the earthly avengers in an outer space battle with Thanos, I am glad I made the event. The movie did a fine job of bringing the storylines of multiple characters together--highlighted by the introduction of the Hulk to the ensemble. The acting of Ruffalo stole the show, and played well into the interaction of the characters. Although the battle seemed short in relation to the length of the movie, the task of tying together multiple plots was easily achieved. If you are a Marvel fan, don't miss this movie.
