Super 8 is Super Great!

As you would expect from Spielberg, this movie is very well done and grips you nearly from start to finish. The actors are excellent all the way around and the plot very well conceived. A bit scary for younger kids though, so I would keep it to 10+ years old. A must see!

Green Lantern is exhilarating from start to finish. It is great for all ages, although some scenes might be a bit scary for toddlers. A must see movie for the Family! Don't miss it!

While we enjoyed the understanding how the X-Men came together at the start - and apart - none of us (family of 5) really enjoyed the movie as it was too long and lacked the quality to pull it all together... We are eagerly awaiting The Green Lantern's opening this week.

Not as good as the first one...

This was a predictable and somewhat funny sequel. But, it fell short on many fronts and left us feeling we had wasted time going to see it. Even our kids thought it was "average" at best...

Rango is a wonderfully funny, family oriented movie. Johnny Depp's voice resonates throughout with hilarious accents and personalities. A must see for the Family.

The movie had some cute moments to it, but it could have been so much better. I would not go out of my wat to see this movie, except if you have very young ones...

Average, but not good

The first half of the movie was a bit of a "snoozer". The second half was much more fun. Language was crude throughout especially for appeal to Families with kids who love the superhero genre (Batman, Superman, Hulk, Iron man, Spiderman). Actors were funny with good on-screen chemistry. Good ending leaves us waiting for Green Hornet 2, which hopefully fixes some of the issues mentioned in my review.
