This is a "heavy" movie (dealing with the concept of the end of the world after all!) that is thought provoking, yet funny and light hearted at times, intertwined with a beautiful love story. It is a very refreshing and unpredictable movie. Steve Carell and Keira Knightley are terrific in their roles. Do not go see this movie if you are seeking pure light-hearted comedy fare. This is only for the serious at heart...
My wife and I did not know what to expect when we went to see it. We are big fans of the Broadway show, and were blown away by the overall fun, great acting and sheer energy of the movie. Many funny moments, great songs and a good story combine into a high energy movie that should not be missed for all those that grew up in the 80's.
This is an excellent science fiction movie. While less scary than Alien, it was just as fast-paced and thrilling from start to finish. Noomi Rapace was awesome as was the rest of the cast. My only critique of the movie was the lack of character development for some of the protagonists.
This is an excellent movie for most, if not all, of the family. While some of the characters might be a bit scary for kids below 10, the movie will appeal to most viewers. Great ending and twists and turns throughout. A definite must see movie with great acting and special effects from start to finish...
A good, fast-paced action movie for the entire family (0-5 excluded) . Well worth the price of admission and definitely non-stop fun from start to finish.
Even though we had seen this epic movie when it first came out, this time was even better. We did not feel that the 3D added anything this time around, but this movie is definitely worth seeing for those who have not seen it, as well as for those who have seen it but should see it again...
The 3 Stooges is a hilarious movie for all ages. The excellent cast and slapstick comedy keeps you laughing from start to finish. Take your family and relive the memories... The modern version is as good as the originals.
This movie was just not as good as the first one, although the special effects were great. Overall, a good, entertaining movie. I just wish more had been done with the plot and building up of the Greek Gods.
This is an excellent movie all the way around, despite being a bit slow in the beginning and lacking a bit more scenes between the son and his father to build up their relationship. Otherwise, an excellent movie with superb performances by the entire cast and exceptional views of Manhattan. This movie is worthy of an oscar nomination. Don't miss it!
