I am surprised by the other reviews. I think this is the BEST movie to come from Disney in a long, long time. It is classic Disney: Stunning animation that sweeps you into the scene and strong moral lessons. The voodoo aspect is disturbing, because it is supposed to be disturbing! Don't mess with the devil/demons, and right there on the screen is why. There were alot of kids at the show I took my daughter to, and there was no indication that the kids were too scared. (no crying, or people taking kids out of the theater). In fact, for a room full of kids, you could hear a pin drop most of the time.
Also, the music was awesome. Fun, toe-tapping and not one bit irritating for the grown ups.
