not enough plot

The movie was fine and the action was really good but there was just too much action and not enough plot. It felt like every 5 minutes there was some elaborately staged fight scene, chase, etc... Felt like they were trying too hard. Beautiful scenery though.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The movie is really dark and not appropriate for young children. We enjoyed the movie and the special effects were incredible. They still changed things from the book with no reason but it is the closest any of the movies have been.

It was as different from the book as the other movies. Heard some people were disappointed at the end. If you go into it not comparing it to the book the entire time, you will enjoy the movie like I did.

We took the kids expecting a "bubble gum" movie with cutie zac efron. We enjoyed it more than the kids! The one liners and 80s references were extremely funny. Some of the references were geared more for teenagers than young kids but not really too bad. I would see this one again!

Best movie I have seen in a long time. Special Effects were great! I liked the jokes and references to the TV show but you did not have to watch the TV show to understand the movie. All star cast. Looks like the start of another long run for the Star Trek fans.

Not as good as the first movie but alot better that the third. I thought the stunts were great but special effects were not. Tried to cram too many characters into one movie. The Boys (8 and 10) loved everything about it.

We really enjoyed this movie. Kids and Adults alike. Silly and some dry humor but it was funny and the action was really good.
