Good But Slow & Long

I thought this film was overall good, but it is long and slow in several spots. Johnny Depp is a great actor. I think they could have tighten it up a bit to make it flow faster. It seemed like they were making an Epic movie or a Saga.
I'd recommend it as a rental just to watch Johnny Depp. At least at home you can pause it and get up and move around. You can go back to it when ever you want.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was very well done. They thought a lot about this story line. It did not conflict with the original Star Trek. They laid down a path to a new Star Trek series either in Movies or TV.
I am impressed.
