Hangover 3 was a decent movie. It was entertaining enough to get some laughs here and there. However, it pales in comparison to Part 1. At least it's better than Part 2 though! Does it have that "wow" factor? Definitely not. Am I glad that I gave it a chance? Yes. I wouldn't say that I'm going to be wanting to watch it again.
The most disappointing part was the lack of the true party spirit. They were basically dealing with fallout from what happened in Part 1 and while some of it was funny, it just didn't have the same effect. Albeit what made Part 2 suck so badly was the fact that they basically rehashed the storyline in a different settting. They probably won't ever understand what made the magic and how to outdo it. The best solution IMHO is, don't try. Some things are better left alone.
Pros well paced
Cons missing the ooph
Yes, I recommend this movie.

So, when I saw the first trailer for Kick-Ass, I had never heard of the graphic novel but I was intrigued. I went in not knowing what to expect. What I got was one of my new favorite movies to date.
This movie is super cool, funny, violent, action packed and it never lets up. A word of warning to the parents out there though, do not bring your little ones. The non-red band trailers can be misleading. It has plenty of cursing and gore.
I can't say enough about this movie but if I went on, I would basically be reiterating. Just go see it already!
What can I say? I got what I came for. Plenty of action, awesome effects and lots of new (and old) Transformers. Sure, much of the humor was cheesy and the plot was kind of weak but so what? It was enjoyable enough and yes, I am looking forward to a Transformers 3.
Ok, so I'm not a hardcore trekkie, barely, even a casual one. This movie, I thought had it all - great story, good action, good but not overdone humor and most importantly, it didn't forget to get the status quo of the Enterpise crew started, while also dealing with all the various back stories. A very enjoyable film from beginning to end.
I had high hopes for this movie. Finally, we're going to see the real complexities of the man behind the claws. The problem is, they were dealing with a lot of other comic book characters besides Wolverine. Yes, we got his backstory but it all felt haphazard. There was no real depth to his character. Even in the first 2 X-Men movies, you can tell that there's a lot going on beneath the surface. IIn this movie, the surface is basically the be all end all of Wolverine and in that respect, I felt disappointed. Come see it for the action and performances but don't expect to see the Batman Begins of the Marvel franchise.
