My wife and I always enjoy seeing comedic actors in more serious roles, so we had high hopes for this one. The acting is very good. Greta Gerwig, in my opinion, has an oscar worthy performance. Ben Stiller does a great job too. Unfortunately he does such a good job, that his character is difficult to like. My wife absolutely disliked the movie. I was more bored than anything. The film has some great close up's ala Sergio Leone's "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", but there just wasn't enough tugging of the emotions in this one.
My wife and I really enjoyed this movie. We had read some of the previous reviews before we went, so I was a bit concerned when I read that a few thought it was boring and didn't have the action that the "Bourne" movies have. We couldn't have disagreed more! The action was non stop and the story kept us on the edge of our seat (despite knowing the real-life outcome). Of course we all now know that there were never any WMD in Iraq and this movie points out what many already believe in that the Bush/Cheney regime sent us to war under false pretenses. The acting was great by all and I would definately recommend this movie. Enjoy!
Very enjoyable film with great performances by everyone involved. Couldn't wait to see what was going to happen in every scene. Throw in a great soundtrack and I would consider seeing this movie again in the theater.
