I don't know if this movie depicts the facts, but it felt like it. While watching this, I literally felt a closure to the events of 9/11, much more so than just the news of Bin Ladens death. Many emotions came out while watching the story of the decade long search and killing of the man behind that horrible day. Joy, satisfaction, frustration, anger, relief....were all felt while watching.
The good news for this movie, is that it doesn't take a pollitcal approach. It keeps the politics to a minimum and whether you are a Bush republican or an Obama Democrat, you will enjoy watching how the CIA was able to finally get their man. The agent played by Jessica Chastain should have been severely decorated for her efforts if portrayed accurately. She was amazing. And Chastain was justifiably nominated for academy award! Jason Clarke did an outstanding job as well. Go see this!

Django Unchained is a mix of Western, Action, Drama, with some tongue in cheek similarities to the Sergio Leone spaghetti's. Some good laughs sprinkled in. The movie is violent, but not as much as I expected based on others reviews. Its typical Tarentino. Acting is excellent and I would sincerely give an oscar nom to Christoph Waltz. This guy was excellent and the movie dropped a notch when he was not in the scenes. My date was able to overlook the violence and loved the movie.

Excellent tale that can be compared to the Wizard of Oz or Big Fish, but also could be confused with a true story. The 3D effects and art direction are top notch and the lead actor does an incredible job making you believe. Great movie for couples, families, or just by yourself.

As a huge fan of the 16th president, I enjoyed this movie. The all star cast was excellent. There will be some oscar nods Im sure. The story centers around Lincolns attempt to get the 13th ammendment passed before the end of the war. The true story lent itself to some drama, but there were some definite slow moments. Maybe because we all know the outcome, the film did not stir much emotion. If you are looking for a real escape from the daily grind, this probably isn't the best film to see.

Argo, based on the true story of the 79-80 Iran hostage crisis, hits a homerun out of the park. I was skeptical with Ben Affleck as, not only the star, but the director as well. For me, his acting has always been hit or miss. (Hit-Good Will Hunting, Miss-Pearl Harbor). But he is oscar worthy for both roles. The not-so-famous supporting cast is excellent as well. Lots of suspense, drama, action, makes this a great film!

The last 10 minutes were touching and emotional. The rest was boring. I wasn't sure what type of movie this was supposed to be. Not real funny, not especially heart tugging. Acting was fine, just not much substanance.

Ted is sarcastic humor at its best. Its not a laugh a minute, but there are plenty of laugh out loud moments to go along with the constant smile. Plenty of interesting cameo's throughout the movie. If you are in the mood for a non-stress, entertaining comedy, go see Ted.

Nice suspense

Suspense was good and acting top notch! I would definitely recommend it. Only negatives were that it was a little hard to follow at first but caught up quite nice and be aware of some graphic scenes. And not enough time spent developing the leads relationship. My wife read the book and didn't enjoy the movie as much as I did. But overall, this is a movie worth the price!

Warrior - Excellent Drama

This a drama first, and action/fight movie second. Neither my wife nor me have any interest in MMA or any of this type of fighting, but we read the reviews and knew that we would enjoy Warrior. We were not disappointed at all! The acting was phenomenal! The characters had so much pain bottled up inside them for so long and you could feel them let loose. Nick Nolte had another Oscar worthy performance. I'm guessing that more viewers aren't going to see this based on thinking its a fight movie. Big Mistake! Go see it!

A fun Western!

Cowboys and Aliens packs lots of sci-fi adventure into a classic western! Acting was very good. Even if you don't like westerns, the sci-fi action will turn you on!
