I did not expect this movie to be as good as the books. Movies rarely ever are. I also did not compare it to Harry Potter. With that said this was a terrible movie. The best part was the baseball scene. If they could have kept to that kind of directing it would have been great. They left out so many important things and added stuff that really didn't need to be in it. There was no character development no relationship development. There were 3 very long music entourages that could have been left out or cut back. There was very little actual dialog. I wasted 7 1/2 hours waiting in line for the midnight show. I even went back another night to watch it again now that I was expecting nothing from it and it was still terrible. Very low budget.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
