Downey Jr. IS Iron Man

Iron Man raised the bar as to what comic movies can be. Very true to the lore while updating the mythos for a new generation. It follows Tony Stark's journey from a self-centered, boozing, womanizer to the selfless man behind the machine. Robert Downey Jr. plays this character to a T, no doubt in your mind that he ISN'T Tony/Iron Man. This movie is full-throttle action with humor and heart. Can't forget to mention the little nods they threw in for the hard-core comic fans, from the CG shot of the Golden Armor, to Rhodey having the Iron Man cartoon's theme as his ring tone for Tony. There are also two major cameos to look for. Stan's is the prerequisite for Marvel movies, but the other is a shocker that you MUST sit through the credits to see. If this is any indication as to what the Incredible Hulk is going to be, Marvel Entertainment will make bank with it's first two films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
