I loved this movie, but I'm a bit bias because I'm an Aussie living in the USA. I have to say I was a bit disappointed that it seemed to be a bit slow to take off in the first 30-40 minutes, but it picks up full speed after that. I was with my NY husband and he loved it too. The discussions after the movie were great "there are a lot of Americans that didn't realize the Japanese attacked Australia/Darwin after they hit Pearl Harbor". I enjoyed the way the Aussie outback was shown. Just an all-round great movie (even if I am a little bias).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
