I was amazed at the acting Natalie Portman did, she is a wonderful actress in this movie. This movie is a must see.

I am proud of Tyler taking a poetry read to a storyline..It was made very well and had a deep message...I left the movie theatre in deep thought everyone can find themselves in one of the characters...

Chemistry between characters

I feel the chemistry between the characters was genuine, my husband and I enjoyed it and will recommend to friends......The stars were individually skilled which made it interesting as well....

MARTIN SCORSESE HAS DONE IT AGAIN, OF COURSE I FIGURED IT OUT IN THE BEGINNING BUT NOT TOTALLY...VERY GOOD MOVIE, WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE....MAKE SURE YOU ARE PAYING ATTENTION

I felt this was a good movie for the time we are in now. A lot of people become blindsided with their own agenda, they do not realize one action could create a rippling effect. In other words to open and see whats around........

Spike's Academy Award Winner

The movie was very enlighting to see how african american people played a part to help defend this country. How enough credit is not given to them when speaking of events in wartime. Spike showed compassion, integrity and trust in the characters that were portrayed.
