I thought the movie was filmed in an arresting and lush style that captured the tone of the book. I went to the first showing of it and hadn't heard much about it beforehand. I was shockingly surprised at how good it was! They followed the dialogue and descriptions from the book very closely. The book followed a slow and gradual build in the relationship and sexual tension of Bella and Edward, but the movie missed out on this. That's the only part that I thought they didn't get right. Edward was slow to warm up to Bella and when he did, Bella kept pushing him too far, not realizing the danger she was putting both of them in. Other than that, I thought it was a slam dunk.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
