The movie deals with people growing old and trying to live their dreams.
Children in the theater did no understand it, were crying over the stressful scenes of people who look like their grand fathers trying to kill each other.
The rapid action, funny jokes and little lines were designed to keep the children interested but the movie is targeted for young adults.

Dark movie that takes you down a very different road for the Joker. Amazing performances by all but Maggie G. Found her performance rather slilted and stiff. While everything around her was changing and moving and every other character had emotion and drive her performance was flat.
Ledger was amazing as a totally new Joker along the the scenes is Hans Zimmer taking a new way to build stress musically in scenes. Almost and old way but the rise in harmonics slowly and building assisted in the story so well I am sure many people did not even notice it.

Yes, I recommend this movie.
