This was a great time and totally delivered in every way. For those of us who grew up on 80's action films, this was a throwback to those great days of real manly man explosions and fights, taken to a new level. I also liked the emotion in this film (re: the scene between Rourke and Stallone - the woman on the bridge). Go see this film - you won't be disappointed!
I loved this movie from start to finish. It hit all the typical "Indy" moments, had the great one-liners and moved very fast. I couldn't believe when it was over; it didn't feel like 2 hours had passed. I rank it equal to Temple of Doom, maybe slightly better, and that's what I hoped for going in. I didn't expect it to equal Raiders or Last Crusade. My only complaint would be the resolution of the main plot point was somewhat of a letdown. I would have liked that to have been fleshed out and explained better. I'm reading the novelization written by one of my favorite authors, James Rollins, so I'm sure more is explained in the book.
One thing I really enjoyed and noticed rather quickly is this is just a gorgeous looking film. The colors, scenery, and set design are all awesome. Don't miss this film on the big screen!
